NRAO NEEDED A FRESH, SIMPLIFIED LOGO LOCKUP TO HELP THEM STAND OUT BETTER

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory
Founded in 1956, the NRAO provides advanced radio telescope facilities for scientists worldwide. Astronomers use radio telescopes to observe the radio waves that come from stars, planets, galaxies, clouds of dust, and molecules of gas. To fully understand distant objects like quasars or planets, they study them across various wavelengths, including the radio.

Exploration
Taking inspiration from radio imagery of quasars and galaxies, I began an exploration of deconstructing the complex shapes to simplified graphics that could be incorporated within a new logo lockup

Establishing the final logo lockup, we came up with a fresh, dynamic color palette
